Why
Join?
You've had a story to tell for a long time. How many years have you been saying "someday...someday I will write that novel/short story/poem/screenplay/essay?"
If there's one thing we've learned at the Lexington Writer's Room, it's that our stories will not tell themselves. Being a writer means sitting down and putting words on the page. It means carving out time to work on your craft. And it means actually doing it, not just talking about doing it.
